Iris Bergman (1993) is based in Amsterdam & Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

As an image maker Iris searches for the edge  between fiction and reality. Driven by her fascination for architecture and  sociology she visits several places where she transforms daily life environments  into a piece of scenery. She uses their inhabitants as characters of a play. These  cinematic and minimalistic compositions are a recurring approach in her visual  language. Being both an observer and a director she creates an area of tension  for her audience.
